The crocodile dentist

Brushing a toddler's teeth is bad times. In fact, about the only thing I can think of that's worse is toddler dentistry. Since I'll do just about anything to avoid the latter, I have to do quite a bit of the former. Brush your baby’s teeth!

Like many other moms, I read with horror the recent article in The New York Times about toddlers undergoing general anesthesia for dental work due, in many cases, to neglectful parents. It seems some didn’t realize they should brush their little ones’ teeth for them, while others found it too challenging. I could never be those parents, I thought.
