I’m in love with OOFOS recovery footwear.
I wrote about them back in May when I got my first pair. OOFOS have been life-changing for me – no exaggeration. I had foot pain daily before I started wearing these shoes. And since I got my bad feet from my mom, it’s no wonder she loves them, too!
According to the OOFOS website, their recovery footwear:
- cradles your arches
- reduces stress on sore feet, knees, and back
- enables a more natural walking motion
- reduces energy requirements at primary joints for walking
But let’s get back to Christmas. When my mom asked me what I wanted as my gift this year, I knew right away: the new OOFOS Londoner boot. To have the comfort of recovery footwear in a cute, chic, multi-season boot would be a dream! I ordered my boots, my folks gave me the money for them, and I was all set.
But a few days before Christmas, when my parents arrived for their annual visit to Columbus, I realized that my boots hadn’t arrived yet. Uh oh! I called OOFOS and they told me that my Londoners had been regrettably “lost in transit” so they immediately shipped me another pair at no cost. Great customer service!
My boots arrived just in time for Christmas morning. I tried them on and LOVED them immediately. My mom complimented them and said she could use a pair of boots like that, too. I didn’t think anything of it… until a second box arrived from OOFOS the day after Christmas. It was my original pair, now miraculously found!
I messaged OOFOS online to let them know the missing pair of boots had arrived, and to ask how to ship them back. That’s when customer service rep Max gave me the best news of Christmas: “you can go ahead and keep them – it was our mistake.”
I’m sure you can imagine what happened next. My mom tried on the Londoner boots (yes, we wear the same size) and she loved them as much as I do. Thanks to OOFOS, we both have gorgeous new ultra-comfortable boots – and we got to twin for Christmas.
I especially love that the Londoners’ style is versatile enough for a 50-something mom and 80-something grandma to enjoy this classic “mommy and me” fashion moment!
I absolutely love great customer service, but this one might be my favorite story yet. If you haven’t tried OOFOS recovery footwear yet, and you’re hard on your feet like I am, you owe it to yourself to try a pair!
