I am proud to share that I just bought my first set of high-quality, grown-up girl bedding for my room.
Up until this month, I had been using hand-me-down sheets and duvet covers that weren’t really my taste and didn’t go with my other room decor. You see, when I first moved to my condo last summer, I was single and didn’t expect to be in a relationship anytime soon. I was solely focused on solo life!
At that time, I figured it didn’t matter if I had mismatched hand-me-down sheets originally purchased for the guest room in our old house, plus a badly stained duvet cover leftover from Z’s early childhood. Who was going to see my bed? Just my dogs and me!
But as I’ve shared before, all that changed this year. In January, I entered into a lovely relationship with a wonderful man, and my bedroom has since changed from a place where I sleep with my dogs to a place where my special someone and I spend time and enjoy each other’s company.
I had been putting up with hand-me-downs for long enough; it was high time for a bedding makeover!
