Those of us who live in Lewis Center just hit the sweets jackpot.
That’s because we now have our very own crepe shop, known as Crepe Town, right in the Kroger shopping center on 23 in Lewis Center.
If you know anything about me, you know that I love fresh fruit and Nutella crepes.
Z and I have been known to literally stalk the Holy Crepes food truck all around central Ohio. We also love the adorable walking crepes from Belle’s Bread down on Kenny Rd.
And now, we can get our very own fancy and delicious crepes close to home at the all-new and amazing Crepe Town!
We have been watching the Crepe Town sign all summer and hoping that it would open soon. When we went to Kroger on Sunday, we were thrilled to see the open sign was aglow!
We raced into Crepe Town and met the young owner, Alex, who is the sweetest person ever. He told us that he shares another crepe shop with partners – Crepe Stop, on Bethel Rd. – but that Crepe Town in Lewis Center is his first business on his own. And from what we’ve seen, it will be a huge hit!
Here are five reasons to visit and fall in love with Lewis Center’s new Crepe Town:
- The crepes are delicious and beautiful – five out of five stars. We got ours stuffed with fresh fruit (strawberries for Z, strawberries and bananas for me). They also had just the perfect amount of Nutella and were gorgeously adorned with Nutella, white chocolate and pistachios. Perfection!
- Crepe Town features smoothies made with all fresh fruit. It is honestly hard to find places that use fresh fruit for their smoothies! And, you can get boba added to any tea or beverage – a huge bonus.
- Mojitos, anyone? Crepe Town has an entire menu of virgin mojitos made with either 7-Up or Redbull. I am so excited to come back for a mojito date with my honey – these sound so fun!
- Avocado smoothies. As if fresh fruit smoothies weren’t awesome enough, you can take the health factor up a level and get avocado smoothies at Crepe Town. I love this option and can’t wait to try one!
- Crepe Town features local favorite Velvet ice cream and you can get your ice cream in a bowl, on or in a crepe, on a waffle or just about any way you like it. With so many options, I can’t imagine going anywhere else for a sweet treat! They also have lots of toppings and mix-ins.
Crepe Town has an adorable interior where you can sit and enjoy your treats. The menu has something for everyone.
Because of all the Nutella and nut toppings, I would say take precautions or maybe sit this one out if you have a super bad tree nut or peanut allergy – but otherwise, all will enjoy.
Let me know if you visit Crepe Town and love it as much as we do!
